Jacob Monk (born June 4, 2001) is an American football center for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Duke Blue Devils.He played five years of college football for the Duke Blue Devils. Monk's father, Stanley, played running back for Duke from 1984-87. Uncle Quincy Monk played linebacker in the NFL for the New York Giants and Houston Texans from 2002-2004.At Duke, Monk primarily played right guard, but also took snaps as a right tackle, center and left guard in more than 50 games for the Blue Devils.Jacob Monk was named All-ACC thrice. As a senior, he was team captain.[It was during college that Monk learned he had an incredibly rare albeit mild allergy: cold urticaria, which is an allergy to cold water. For Monk, this manifests as breaking out out in hives after being submerged in an ice bath.
